I have had the good fortune to be the principal of Connaught Public School for the last seven years, and throughout this time, our school has been consistently and tirelessly supported by the work of the Education Foundation of Niagara. The work of the EFN is vital to our students and enriches their lives in so many ways. I can visibly feel the joy in the hearts of the students when they try on their first ever pair of brand new winter boots, or see the tears of gratitude from a parent whose family has lost everything in a fire. Particularly in this time of great need in our community, it's an organization like the EFN that is in the trenches, providing relief and support to our students. My sincere thanks.

As part of the Panther family, the Education Foundation of Niagara, has become a very important partnership. Since being at Plymouth. EFN has helped to support our community with clothing, subsidizing trip costs, grocery cards, snacks, glasses, our monthly birthday celebrations and so much more! Whenever there is a need EFN has come through to help our students be successful and ensure students feel a sense of belonging and pride. With the ongoing support of EFN, we have been able to create a caring culture that enriches the lives of so many of our students. From the staff, students and families of Plymouth we thank you EFN for continuing to make a difference for those who need it most!

The Education Foundation of Niagara is truly the foundation for the students in my programs at the DSBN. They have helped fund field trips, projects with our Young Parents and Pathways programs, our first school garden, and first aid training for students, just to name a few things, and they were always there to help students with tragic losses. homelessness, food insecurity, clothing, and even a hospital bed for a very special student. They helped our students cope when life was challenging, and I knew that EFN was a lifeline. EFN has created magic moments that have brought us to tears and uplifted the life of a youth in need. They work 24/7 to better the lives of DSBN students and their families. They find people in our community who understand the needs of our children and youth, but they always need more in challenging times. Make a wish come true for a child with your donation of time, resources, or money to EFN; it will pay off exponentially!
