Bursaries are awarded on the basis of demonstrated student financial need.<\/p>\n<p>Post-secondary graduates have more employment prospects and attain higher wages than those who have only high school. A wide range of positive social benefits are more likely, including higher levels of life satisfaction; sustaining a healthy lifestyle; and active community involvement.<br \/><br \/>Research also reveals cost is a common reason for not continuing to post-secondary education, as is preparation for school, motivation, and parental influence.
