Kylee joined the EFN as a board member in October 2023. She had heard through the grapevine about the work the EFN was doing and was inspired to learn how she could further support. She is a Regulated Speech-Language Pathologist and Clinical Manger at Lear Communication Inc, where she provides intervention to children across the region requiring further academic supports. She has seen firsthand the needs of DSBN students and believes that no child should face any academic barrier. As a Métis person, she yearns to further support the First Nations, Inuit and Métis DSBN students. Kylee lives in Niagara Falls with her husband, two young sons and rambunctious Australian Sheppard. They are often found at the hockey arena or on the soccer field, but when they aren’t there, they are together exploring local hiking trails.
